Senior Wellness

Aging well is about moving wisely, breathing calmly, and staying connected to life.

Our senior wellness classes are designed to support balance, mobility, and mental clarity through gentle movement and guided practices—taught live by experienced teachers. Each session honors the body’s natural pace, offering safe, supportive guidance that helps you feel steadier, calmer, and more confident in everyday life.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends that adults 65 and older get at least 150 minutes of moderate physical activity each week plus activities that improve balance and strength. Regular activity helps older adults live independently, improve quality of life, and reduce the risk of chronic diseases like heart disease and diabetes. CDC

Johns Hopkins Medicine notes that yoga improves strength, balance, and flexibility, and that slow movements coupled with breath work increase blood flow and warm muscles—benefits especially helpful for seniors.

The National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health (part of NIH) states that meditation and mindfulness can help reduce stress, anxiety, high blood pressure, pain, and insomnia—issues common among older adults. NCCIH
