About Angamardana

Angamardana is a powerful fitness system rooted in the ancient science of yoga. Designed by Sadhguru, it offers a unique opportunity to attain peak physical and mental wellbeing through a series of dynamic practices.

The word “Angamardana” means gaining complete mastery over the limbs, organs, and other parts of the body. This practice revitalizes the body across all dimensions—muscular, skeletal, circulatory, nervous, and energy systems—without requiring any equipment. It can be practiced anywhere, making it an ideal companion for those who travel.

Schedule & Additional Details

This is a full-day immersive workshop. Participants are expected to stay for the entire duration to experience the depth of the practice.

  • Please bring a light vegetarian lunch so you can remain within the consecrated space.
  • During the midday break, if you wish to attend: we will engage in Bhakti Sadhana, Guru Pooja, and Chanting as part of the spiritual environment.
  • Plan your day accordingly to be fully present and undisturbed.

Empty Stomach Guidelines

To ensure the practice is effective and safe:

  • Heavy meal: Finish at least 4 hours before class
  • Light snack: Finish 2.5 hours before class
  • Beverages: Finish 1.5 hours before class

Health Contraindications

Due to the intense physical nature of Angamardana, the following individuals are not eligible to participate at this time:

  • Women who are currently pregnant
  • Individuals who have had major open surgery in the last 6 months
  • Individuals who have had laparoscopic surgery in the last 6 weeks
